At the end of 2020, we recognized it’s more important than ever to have “attitudes of gratitude” and focus on giving back in a meaningful way. We never imagined the inaugural year of the program would be so successful. We set lofty quarterly goals to make a difference in our communities and we crushed them all because of our clients and supporters.
In 2022 Q1 Feeding the Heart Food Drive raised $9,045 and 3,760 lbs. All donations went to Bremerton Foodline. Q2 we donated a portion of our commission from each closed sale during that period. Our clients were able to choose 1 out of 3 local charities. We raised $8,883 for Permission to Start Dreaming, $8,583 for Heartwood Haven, and $8,733 for The Coffee Oasis, donating a total of $25,000!! During Q3 we decided to just keep going with our commission donations but chose 3 new organizations. We raised $11,250 for Kitsap Mental Health Services, $9,600 for The Mustard Seed Project, and $6,200 for Tacoma Rescue Mission, donating a total of $27,050! In Q4 we spread the joy of the holiday season to the Seniors in our communities. We were able to put together over 220 gift boxes with new donated items from our clients and supporters!
